Brown Recreation offers several special events each semester.
Try Before You Buy: From September 6th - September 17th all students and recreation members can attend unlimited group fitness classes for FREE! Check out our schedule HERE.
Bring a Friend to class week: From October 16th-22nd. Bring a friend with you to as many group fitness classes as you would like for free!
Turkey Burn: December 2nd, 2017 A FREE 2 hour group fitness extravanganza where participants get a sampling of 4 group fitness formats.

Spring Into Summer: Held April 23rd, 2017. A FREE 2 hour group fitness sweat-a-thon where participants get a sampling of 4 group fitness formats.
Project Transform: Held Spring 2017. Project Transform will motivate you to work towards your goals over the 10 weeks. You will be matched with 2-3 other individuals with similar goals to meet with a certified Personal Trainer once a week. You will also check in with the trainer every week to review your nutritional habits. You will receive a personalized packet to track your progress and provide you with the resources needed to reach your goal.
Stress-Less Week: Held during finals week at the end of each semester. All group fitness classes are free to all students and recreation members. Some free events offered in the past were: Zumba Party, chair massages, headstand workshop, and Flatbread samples.
