Personal Training Policies


As a Brown Recreation Member and a Personal Training Client, the following policies are expected to be followed:

  • Payment for service will be conducted through the Welcome Desk or online website only:
  • Services must be paid in full before training with Personal Trainer (applies to new packages & renewals)
  • Client is required to swipe their Brown Rec ID with their trainer to redeem Personal Training Sessions
  • Full fee will be charged for no shows & cancellations less than 24 hours before scheduled session
  • Members are not permitted to share sessions without prior approval from Fitness & Wellness Coordinator
  • Sessions must be used within one calendar year from date of purchase
  • Sessions are non-transferable & non-refundable
  • Trainers not employed by Brown University Athletics are not permitted to train clients in Brown’s Recreational Facilities
